- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp Salute seasoning (or your favorite poultry seasoning)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season both sides of the chicken thighs with Salute seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Melt 2 tbsp of butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, melt another 2 tbsp of butter and add garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Gradually add the flour while stirring to form a roux. Cook for about a minute.
- Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring until slightly thickened, then add heavy cream and stir until smooth.
- Stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted, adjusting seasoning if needed.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon creamy sauce over each piece, and bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh dill and serve warm.
