- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups broccoli florets

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat Olive Oil: In a large pot, heat that tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking.
- Brown the Sausage: Add the sliced chicken sausage to the pot. Cook until they’re browned, about 5 minutes.
- Sauté the Aromatics: Stir in your diced onion and minced garlic. Cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine Orzo Ingredients: Add in the orzo, chicken broth, and milk. Bring it all to a gentle simmer.
- Simmer to Perfection: Cover the pot and let it cook for about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Add Broccoli and Parmesan: Uncover and fold in the broccoli florets and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts.
- Season and Serve: Lastly, season with salt and black pepper, mixing well. Serve immediately.
