- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons capers
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- Season 4 salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
- Add 4 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Pour in 1/2 cup of chicken broth and 1/4 cup of lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of capers, allowing it to simmer until the sauce thickens slightly (approximately 3-4 minutes).
- Return the salmon to the skillet, gently coating them with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
If using frozen salmon, thaw it overnight in the fridge. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
