Description

A comforting and creamy dish featuring salmon fillets in a luscious lemon garlic sauce, perfect for cozy family dinners or elegant date nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season 4 salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  3. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Pour in 1/2 cup of chicken broth and 1/4 cup of lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the pan.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of capers, allowing it to simmer until the sauce thickens slightly (approximately 3-4 minutes).
  6. Return the salmon to the skillet, gently coating them with the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

If using frozen salmon, thaw it overnight in the fridge. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
