- 200g pasta (fettuccine or linguine recommended)
- 200g salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden. Remove and flake.
- Sauté garlic in the same skillet for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir and bring to a gentle simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add cooked pasta and flaked salmon to the sauce, tossing to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley and optional Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For a lighter version, replace heavy cream with half-and-half. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days.
