Instructions

  1. Brown the chicken: In a large pot, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 6–7 minutes per side. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic: In the same pot, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add broth: Pour in your chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer, scraping up any brown bits from the pan for extra flavor.
  4. Cook the noodles: Add ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  5. Slice the chicken: While the noodles cook, slice the rested chicken into strips.
  6. Add veggies: Toss in the broccoli and bell peppers. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender yet still vibrant.
  7. Creamy finish: Stir in heavy cream and soy sauce. Return the sliced chicken to the pot and gently heat until everything is well combined and warmed through.
  8. Serve: Dish out the ramen into bowls, garnishing with chopped green onions for a pop of color and freshness.
