- 1 cup black coffee, cooled (or cold-brewed)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, chilled
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 banana, peeled (fresh or frozen)
- 3 Medjool dates, seeded
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- Large handful of ice cubes (5-6)
Instructions
- Prep Your Ingredients: Brew your coffee and allow it to cool. If using frozen bananas, pull them out of the freezer now.
- Blend: Place all the ingredients into a high-powered blender. Blend on high for about 30-45 seconds until smooth and creamy.
- Taste Test: Take a quick taste to adjust flavors as needed.
- Serve: Pour into tall glasses and enjoy immediately.
Notes
These smoothies are best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake or re-blend before drinking.
