Description

A comforting dish that combines creamy cheddar cheese with seasoned ground turkey and macaroni, perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights at home.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.25 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1.5 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2.5 tsp chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp pepper
  • 1.5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 0.75 tsp smoked paprika
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 16 oz macaroni
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat olive oil. Add ground turkey and diced onion; cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic, tomato paste, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; stir for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 cup vegetable broth to deglaze.
  4. Add remaining vegetable broth and uncooked macaroni, ensuring the pasta is submerged.
  5. Seal the Instant Pot lid and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  6. Perform a quick release, stir in hot sauce, and fold in cheddar cheese until melted.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat with added broth if necessary.
