- 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package directions, drain and set aside
- Cook bacon in large skillet until crispy, remove and drain on paper towels
- Add olive oil to same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant
- Reduce heat, add cream cheese and heavy cream, stir until smooth
- Add cooked tortellini and bacon to sauce, toss to coat
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired

- Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother sauce
- Reserve some pasta water to thin sauce if needed
- Fresh tortellini cooks faster than frozen
