Description

These delicious Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls are the perfect blend of ground turkey, herbs, and tart cranberries, making them a delightful addition to any holiday feast.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey (85% lean)
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Olive oil for greasing the baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, sautéed onion and garlic, dried cranberries, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  4. Pour the beaten egg and melted butter into the mixture, folding gently until incorporated.
  5. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized rounds and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Notes

These stuffing balls can be made ahead and frozen. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
