Description

A vibrant and flavorful jam that combines the tartness of cranberries with the heat of jalapeños, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 12 jalapeños
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cranberries, sugar, water, apple cider vinegar, chopped jalapeños, cinnamon, and salt. Stir gently to incorporate the ingredients.
  2. Allow the mixture to come to a boil, stirring occasionally. You’ll hear the cranberries start to burst.
  3. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the jam thickens to your desired consistency.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the jam cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  5. Carefully transfer the jam to sterilized jars.
  6. Store the jars in the refrigerator or water-bath can them for long-term storage.
  7. Serve and enjoy as desired!

Notes

This jam lasts up to 3 weeks in the fridge. For longer storage, consider canning.
