Description

Delicious bites of toasted baguette topped with creamy Brie and tart cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Baguette or French bread
  • 8 oz Brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., thyme or rosemary)
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into diagonal slices about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  4. Bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  6. Top each slice with a piece of Brie cheese and a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper if desired.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For best results, allow Brie to come to room temperature before using. Store components separately to maintain crispness.
