- 1 pound Breakfast Sausage
- 1 package Frozen Hash Browns (about 30 oz)
- 8 Large Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions
Instructions
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until browned. Set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish, layer half the hash browns, half the sausage, and 1 cup of cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining hash browns, sausage, and cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers.
- Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake covered for 45 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Top with green onions before serving.
Notes
