Description

A healthier twist on traditional pizza dough, made with creamy cottage cheese for a chewy and satisfying crust.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cottage cheese, blended
  • Olive oil (for drizzling on top)
  • Optional toppings: shredded mozzarella, fresh basil, pepperoni, roasted veggies, etc.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly to combine the dry ingredients.
  2. Add the cottage cheese to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Combine the blended cottage cheese with the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth dough forms.
  4. If the dough feels too sticky, dust with more flour as needed.
  5. Dust flour on the surface and roll out the dough to your desired thickness.
  6. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Add olive oil on top and pre-bake for 10 minutes at 450°F (230°C).
  8. Remove from the oven, add desired toppings, and return to bake until the cheese melts—about 5 minutes. Broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden crust if desired.
