- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cottage cheese, blended until smooth
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt.
- Add 1 cup of cottage cheese to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Add the blended cottage cheese to the dry ingredients and mix until it forms a cohesive dough.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape each into a ball.
- Roll each ball into a circle, about 6-8 inches in diameter.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and cook each pita for 2-3 minutes on one side, until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm with your favorite dips or fillings.
Notes
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes before rolling for easier handling. Use a cast-iron skillet for best results.
