- 5 cups (550g) powdered sugar
- 1 cup (130g) all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup (140g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (90g) mini chocolate chips
- 4oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 4oz (1/2 cup) heavy cream
- 2–3 tsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Cookie Dough: Cream butter and sugars, then mix in milk, vanilla, flour, salt, and chocolate chips. Chill.
- Make the Cake Batter: Preheat oven, cream butter and sugar, mix in eggs, then add flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and yogurt. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake the Cake: Divide batter into pans and bake until done. Cool in pans, then transfer to wire rack.
- Prepare the Cookie Dough Buttercream: Beat butter, then gradually mix in powdered sugar, flour, brown sugar, milk, vanilla, salt, and chocolate chips until fluffy.
- Assemble the Cake: Layer cake with cookie dough and chill.
- Make the Ganache: Heat chocolate and cream until melted, stir in oil.
- Frost and Serve: Frost with buttercream, drizzle with ganache, and add chocolate chips.
