- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can green beans (15 oz, drained)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package frozen Tater Tots (32 oz, do not thaw)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Lower the heat, then add green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk to the skillet. Stir until well combined and warmed through (about 3 minutes).
- Stir in garlic powder and onion powder, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix in half (½ cup) of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Arrange frozen Tater Tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the Tater Tots.
- Bake for 25-35 minutes until bubbly and Tater Tots are golden brown.
- Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize with different vegetables or proteins. Great for leftovers and can be frozen for later.
