Description

Delicious Churro Cheesecake Bars that blend rich cheesecake with the crunchy, spiced goodness of churros.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 large egg, room temperature, separated
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Layer the first crescent roll dough on the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  5. Add the second layer of crescent rolls over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Prepare the topping by beating the egg white and brushing it over the top layer. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the dough.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then chill for at least 2 hours before slicing.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream and caramel sauce, and pair with coffee or chai lattes.
