- 2 ripe bananas, brown-spotted
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet, dark, or milk)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Slice the bananas and place them in a single layer on a baking sheet. Freeze for at least 2 hours until solid.
- In a blender, combine the frozen bananas, peanut butter, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
- Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami and process according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually about 4-5 minutes).
- Serve immediately in chilled bowls or cones, garnished with extra chocolate chips if desired.
Notes
Store any leftover ice cream in an airtight container and let sit out for a few minutes before scooping. This ice cream can be made in advance and enjoyed later!
