- 2 bags microwave popcorn (or about 8 cups popped)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 10 oz mini marshmallows
- 1 cup caramel bits
- 1 cup holiday-colored M&Ms
- Mini chocolate Christmas trees (optional)
Instructions
- Pop the popcorn according to package instructions and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
- In a saucepan, combine butter and marshmallows. Heat over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth—about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn and stir gently to coat.
- Fold in M&Ms, caramel bits, and any additional mix-ins while warm.
- Grease your hands and form the mixture into balls, placing them on wax paper to cool.
- Store in an airtight container once cooled.
Notes
