  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time until well incorporated.
  4. Stir in eggnog and vanilla extract gently.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
