Description

A festive side dish featuring roasted Brussels sprouts, crispy bacon, crunchy pecans, and sweet cranberries, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with the olive oil. Toss until well coated and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet and scatter the chopped bacon over the top.
  4. Roast for about 20 minutes, stirring at the 10-minute mark for even cooking.
  5. Remove from the oven and stir in the pecans and dried cranberries.
  6. Serve warm as a delightful side dish.

Notes

For the crispiest bacon, consider partially cooking it beforehand. Use fresh Brussels sprouts for the best flavor and texture.
