Description

A delightful topping made with cream cheese and heavy cream that adds rich chocolate flavor and creaminess to desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the softened cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and cocoa powder in a bowl of a stand mixer until fully combined.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of heavy cream and whip on medium speed until smooth.
  3. Repeat by gradually adding the remaining heavy cream until fully incorporated.
  4. Whip on medium speed until stiff peaks form, being careful not to over-whip.
  5. Finish by folding in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  6. Serve the chocolate whipped cream on your favorite dessert and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Rewhip gently to restore fluffiness.
