Description
A rich and creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie with a buttery Oreo crust and luscious chocolate ganache that evokes nostalgic memories.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (14.3 oz) package whole Oreos (about 36 Oreos)
- 1 cup (16 tablespoons) unsalted butter, divided
- 1 1/2 cups + 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, divided
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Finely crush the Oreos and mix with 8 tablespoons melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie pan and freeze for 10 minutes.
- Make the Peanut Butter Filling: Mix remaining butter, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until creamy. Spread over crust and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Chocolate Ganache: Heat heavy cream and pour over chocolate chips and peanut butter. Whisk until smooth.
- Assemble the Pie: Pour ganache over the peanut butter layer, spread evenly, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For less sweetness, consider using chocolate graham crackers for the crust instead of Oreos. Serve with whipped cream or chopped peanuts.
