Description

Indulge in the cozy experience of sipping hot chocolate from a delicious chocolate cup that you can eat!

Ingredients

  • Disposable Cups (thicker, sturdier ones)
  • Melted Milk Chocolate (about 2 cups)
  • Candy Canes (2-3, crushed)
  • Cocoa Powder (4 teaspoons, unsweetened)
  • Mini Marshmallows (1 cup)
  • Granulated Sugar (2 tablespoons)

Instructions

  1. Start by slowly melting the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave on low power (about 30 seconds, stirring in between each interval).
  2. Pour the melted chocolate into your disposable cups, swirling to coat the insides thoroughly. Let set in the fridge for at least 15-20 minutes.
  3. Repeat the melting and pouring for a second layer to ensure sturdiness. Let set for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove the chocolate cups from molds, pour a bit more melted chocolate inside, and place crushed candy canes into each cup to dry.
  5. Spoon 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder into each cup and top with mini marshmallows. Drizzle a bit of melted chocolate over the marshmallows.
  6. Using remaining melted chocolate, drizzle and dip the cups, then sprinkle with granulated sugar for decoration.
  7. To serve, place a filled Chocolate Hot Cup in a mug of hot milk, wait a couple of minutes, stir to combine, and enjoy.

Notes

Ensure the chocolate is melted slowly to avoid burning. These can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
