Description

Decadent brownies topped with fresh strawberries and glossy chocolate ganache, perfect for celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C), grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in the granulated sugar.
  3. Stir in the eggs, one at a time, and add vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
  7. Heat the heavy cream until simmering, then mix in the chopped chocolate until smooth.
  8. Pour the ganache over the cooled brownies and top with sliced strawberries.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour to set before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a glossier ganache, add a teaspoon of butter while melting the chocolate.
