Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, yeast, salt, and sugar. Whisk together until combined.
- In a saucepan over low heat, warm milk, water, and melted butter until just warm. Do not boil.
- Gradually pour the warm mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle (12×16 inches) and mix cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle over the rectangle.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal slices.
- Place slices in a greased pan, cover, and let rise for about another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Beat together cream cheese, espresso, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Let rolls cool slightly, then drizzle frosting on top while warm.

Avoid over-kneading to keep rolls fluffy. You can freeze unbaked rolls after slicing.
