- 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually blend this dry mixture into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are soft.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before sprinkling flaked sea salt on top.
- Allow to cool completely on wire racks.
