Description

A vibrant and zesty marinade that elevates meats and veggies, perfect for barbecues and casual dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, honey, chili powder, garlic, cumin, and salt until well combined.
  2. Pour the marinade over your chosen proteins, veggies, or fruits and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
  3. Proceed to cook your marinated items by grilling, baking, or pan-searing.
  4. Reserve some marinade if you’d like to use it as a drizzling sauce at the table.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a well-combined marinade. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
