- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 12 oz Chicken Sausage
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Broccoli Florets
- 3 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 ½ cups Orzo Pasta
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add sliced chicken sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Toss in broccoli florets and pour in chicken broth, bringing it to a boil.
- Once boiling, stir in orzo, reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 10-12 minutes until orzo is tender.
- Remove from heat, season generously with salt and pepper.
- Serve warm, garnished with grated parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. To reheat, add a splash of broth.
