- 1 pound chicken sausage, sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets

- 4 cups chicken broth

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: splash of heavy cream
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in large pot over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken sausage and cook 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets and sauté 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in orzo, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Optional: add splash of cream for richness.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
