A healthier twist on traditional meatloaf made with lean ground chicken, perfect for family dinners.

- 1 pound lean ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (traditional or whole-grain)
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the lean ground chicken, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, milk, ketchup, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Mix well using your hands until everything is well combined, but do not overmix.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread a thin layer of ketchup on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a crispy top, broil the meatloaf for the last 3-5 minutes of cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
