- 2 lbs. Chicken Tenders, Unbreaded
- 4 tablespoons Butter, Divided
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- Salt and Pepper, to Taste
- Parsley (Optional, for Garnish)
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the Spice Mix: In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, coarse sea salt, and black pepper. Season the chicken tenders with this spice mix.
- Sear The Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sear the chicken tenders for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
- Make The Cream Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream, adding the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Scrape the pan’s bottom and let the sauce simmer for 5-8 minutes until thickened.
- Combine and Heat Through: Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for another 2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and have all ingredients prepped before you start cooking. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days.
