Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until it starts to shimmer.
  2. Season the chicken pieces generously with salt and pepper. Place them in the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 6-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  5. Mix in the gravy mix and chicken broth, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook for about 20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes, ladling on the gravy.
