- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 bag (30 ounces) frozen hashbrowns
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: green onions for garnishing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onion for 5-7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Layer frozen hashbrowns in a baking dish, top with beef mixture, and pour the creamy sauce over it.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with green onions, and serve.
