Description

Delicious and comforting wraps filled with marinated chicken, gooey mozzarella and cheddar cheese, all wrapped in a soft tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (for serving)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry. Slice them into 1-inch strips.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken strips and toss to coat. Marinate for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Sauté the chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  5. If using, sauté fresh spinach in the same skillet for 1–2 minutes until wilted.
  6. Lay out tortillas and divide the chicken evenly among them, topping with cheese and spinach.
  7. Fold in the sides and roll up the tortillas burrito-style.
  8. Cook wraps seam-side down in a clean skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  9. Let them rest for a minute before slicing. Serve warm with sour cream and cilantro.

Notes

Avoid overloading wraps with filling to prevent spills. Resting the wraps helps maintain the texture.
