Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, combine all dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, brown sugar, salt, walnuts, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Mix well.
- Add wet ingredients: milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until a smooth batter forms.
- Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, checking at 90 seconds until set but moist.
- Let the mug cake cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy it plain or with whipped cream on top.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep the cake tender. If undercooked, it continues to cook outside the microwave.
