Description

A delightful twist on traditional garlic bread, topped with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and crispy prosciutto.


Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup of fresh mozzarella, diced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • 4 ounces of prosciutto, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the softened butter with the minced garlic until it’s smooth and fragrant.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture over the sliced sides of the Italian bread, ensuring every inch is coated.
  4. Arrange the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp.
  5. Combine cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spread the vibrant tomato mixture evenly over the garlic-infused bread.
  7. Cook the prosciutto in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then crumble it over the topped bread.
  8. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired and serve immediately.
