Description

A festive non-alcoholic drink combining the sweet tang of cranberry juice with the refreshing coolness of peppermint, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup 100% cranberry juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda
  • Crushed candy canes for rimming
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Rim your glass with crushed candy canes by wetting the rim with cranberry juice and dipping it in the candy canes.
  2. In a shaker, combine the cranberry juice and peppermint extract, shaking well for about 10 seconds.
  3. Fill the rimmed glass with ice, about three-quarters full.
  4. Pour the cranberry mixture over the ice until the glass is halfway full.
  5. Top with lemon-lime soda and give it a gentle stir.
  6. Garnish with additional crushed candy canes or a mint sprig. Serve immediately.
