Description

Delightful candied cranberries bursting with tartness and sweetness, perfect for holiday gatherings or everyday treats.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries and pat them dry.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water over medium heat until the sugar fully dissolves (3-4 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cranberries and stir gently to coat. Let soak for about 2 hours.
  5. Drain cranberries using a fine mesh sieve.
  6. Roll cranberries in powdered sugar until well coated.
  7. Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet to dry for about 30 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week at room temperature or 2 weeks in the fridge. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
