- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the salmon and cook until golden and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly, then add lemon juice.
- Return shrimp and salmon to the skillet, coating them in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
