- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat until fully liquid but not browned, about 2-3 minutes.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the melted butter for 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant.
- Add the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir and let meld for about 30 seconds.
- Incorporate the Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately over seafood, steak, pasta, or as a dipping sauce.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for up to 5 days in the refrigerator. Reheat gently.
