Description

A flavorful twist on the classic deviled eggs, featuring Cajun seasoning and a hint of cayenne for an unforgettable appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions or paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks into a bowl.
  2. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Creole seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  4. Garnish with chopped green onions or a sprinkle of paprika.
  5. Serve chilled as an appetizer.

Notes

Ensure eggs are at room temperature for easier peeling. For best flavor, let the mayonnaise sit out before mixing it in.
