Description

A comforting and flavorful fusion of tender butter steak bites paired with creamy Parmesan tortellini in a luscious garlic sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. sirloin steak (preferably grass-fed)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for searing)
  • 12 oz. cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak dry, then season it with salt and pepper on both sides. Allow it to rest at room temperature.
  2. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot, add cheese tortellini, and cook according to package instructions, about 5-7 minutes for fresh tortellini. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil on medium-high heat and sear the steak bites for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add butter. Once melted, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Incorporate Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  5. Add cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat. Return steak bites to the pan and mix everything together.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcook the steak! Aim for medium-rare for juiciness. Keep the tortellini al dente for better texture.
