- 1 can crescent rolls
- 1 pound mild breakfast sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until golden, about 5-7 minutes, then drain excess grease.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and spread them evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the crescent roll layer.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper, then pour the mixture over the sausage.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can assemble the casserole the night before and refrigerate it.
