Description

A comforting breakfast casserole perfect for family gatherings, combining eggs, sausage, and cheese over a crescent roll base.


Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 pound mild breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until golden, about 5-7 minutes, then drain excess grease.
  4. Unroll the crescent rolls and spread them evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the crescent roll layer.
  6. In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper, then pour the mixture over the sausage.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Notes
