Description

A fluffy, creamy frosting made with fresh blueberries and cream cheese, perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tbsp milk (optional for desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Puree the blueberries in a blender or food processor until smooth (Approx. 2 minutes).
  2. Cream the softened cream cheese and butter together until creamy (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add the powdered sugar gradually, mixing until smooth (2-3 minutes).
  4. Mix in the blueberry puree and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Adjust the consistency by adding milk one tablespoon at a time, as needed.
  6. Frost cakes or cupcakes immediately or refrigerate until needed.

Notes

Start with room temperature ingredients for the best texture. Don’t overmix after adding blueberry puree to keep it light and fluffy.
