A lighter, healthier twist on the classic BLT, featuring chicken, bacon, and fresh vegetables wrapped in romaine lettuce.

- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 8 leaves romaine lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 avocado, diced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble when cool.
- Prepare the chicken salad by combining diced chicken, crumbled bacon, diced tomato, red onion, avocado, light mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt in a mixing bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients gently until well combined.
- Assemble the wraps by placing the chicken salad onto each romaine lettuce leaf.
- Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.
Notes
These wraps are best enjoyed fresh but can last for about 2 days in the fridge. Prepare the chicken salad ahead of time and store it separately for optimal freshness.
