Description

A warm, gooey baked brie wrapped in puff pastry and topped with raspberry sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round of brie cheese
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup of raspberry or cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon of flour (for dusting)
  • Edible blood (additional sauce for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick.
  3. Place the brie in the center and spread the raspberry or cranberry sauce on top.
  4. Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing the edges.
  5. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly, then drizzle with additional sauce before serving.
  8. Serve warm with crackers or sliced bread.

Notes

Timing is essential! Keep an eye on the pastry as it bakes; you want that perfect golden brown without burning. Mistakes often happen; if your pastry splits, use excess pastry to patch the holes.
