  • 1/4 cup chopped dark cherries (fresh or frozen, thawed)
  • Dark chocolate shavings (for topping)
  • Extra cherries (for topping)
  • Cherry syrup or honey (for drizzling on top)

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: In a bowl, mix the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and chia seeds.
  2. Add the liquid: Pour in the milk and stir until smooth.
  3. Mix in the creamy goodness: Add Greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  4. Layer to perfection: Spoon half of the mixture into a jar, sprinkle with chopped cherries, and top with the remaining oatmeal mix.
  5. Chill overnight: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Add the finishing touches: Before serving, top with dark chocolate shavings, extra cherries, and drizzle with cherry syrup or honey.
