- 2 cups shredded cheese (divided)

- 2 cups water
- 1 packet (2.75 oz) sausage gravy mix
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and press the buttermilk biscuits evenly into the bottom.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the breakfast sausage, breaking it into small pieces for about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain excess grease, then layer the sausage evenly over the biscuit crust.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, then pour it over the sausage layer and sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese on top.
- In a saucepan, combine gravy mix with 2 cups of water and cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened (about 3-5 minutes).
- Pour the gravy over the casserole and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for about 35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
