- 4 (6oz) salmon fillets, skin-on
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- For Bang Bang Sauce:
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- For Garnish:
- Thinly sliced green onions
- Sesame seeds
- Lime wedges
Instructions
- Prep salmon: Pat fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Make sauce: Whisk all sauce ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
- Sear salmon: Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high. Add salmon skin-side down; cook 4-5 minutes until crispy. Flip, add butter, and cook 3-4 more minutes until 145°F internally.
- Sauce: Remove from heat. Brush each fillet generously with sauce.
- Broil (optional): For caramelized sauce, broil 1-2 minutes.
- Serve: Drizzle with extra sauce. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges.
